As a writing center consultant and longtime avid reader, writer, and student of story, I love helping writers make their work shine! I believe the best fiction stays with readers long after the last page, so my editing focuses on bringing characters to life, building a plot around their personal stakes, and putting everything together to craft a story that resonates deeply — I offer feedback that’s honest, constructive, friendly, and always puts your vision first.

Developmental Editing

Comprehensive edits including plot development, characterization, pacing, POV, thematic resonance, and more. Service includes document with comments, brief editorial summary sheet, and optional video conference to discuss. 3¢ per word. $80 flat fee for short piece (3000 words or less) or sample chapter edit to assess fit upon request. Limited spots available.

Line Editing

Stylistic edits including clarity, voice, sentence structure, description, dialogue, and more. Service includes document with edits and comments, brief editorial summary sheet, and optional video conference to discuss. 2.7¢ per word. $70 flat fee for short piece (3000 words or less) or sample chapter edit to assess fit upon request. Limited spots available.
